Sherlock's First Episode Changed The Rules Of Television In Less Than 5 Minutes
The BBC’s Sherlock is widely regarded as one of the best TV shows of all time, and in its first episode, it changed the rules of TV in just a couple of minutes. Many of the best detective shows of all time are either adaptations of Sherlock Holmes or heavily inspired by the famous character, such as Psych and Monk. In the former category is the BBC’s Sherlock, a modern adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s characters and stories starring Benedict Cumberbatch as Holmes and Martin Freeman as John Watson.
