Casting Pokémon's 8 Kanto Gym Leaders In Live-Action
The Pokémon franchise has only ever made the transition to live-action once before, with the 2019 Detective Pikachu movie, but that hasn't stopped fans from dreaming of a future live-action adaptation of the first generation games. Though it's always a big deal to bring characters fans love to the big screen, there's a risk that casting will underwhelm rather than satisfy longtime fans of the franchise.
