Zootopia 2's box office run has been nothing short of remarkable. Releasing over Thanksgiving weekend is usually a pathway to domestic success, and the Disney sequel has indeed performed well in the US, currently ranking third in 2025 with over $414 million. But the bigger story has been its international performance, especially in China. The film actually grossed more there than domestically over its opening weekend, and at the beginning of February, Disney claimed it had become the highest-grossing Hollywood release in China's history after crossing $630 million.
