Dark Winds: An Even Better Neo-Western Show Than Yellowstone
Yellowstone might be the most popular neo-Western of the 2020s, but AMC’s Dark Winds is ultimately a superior TV show. Taylor Sheridan’s flagship series about the Dutton family’s violent struggle to hold onto their ranch is rightly celebrated as a major factor in the Western genre’s revival in popularity. Yet, that doesn’t automatically make it a great work of television.
